Cutting & Lamination
Sheets are just the starting point. We convert Skogar® into the form factor your application requires — die-cut shapes, and multi-layer laminations.
Available formats & conversion services
Standard sheets
All Skogar® grades available in stocked thicknesses and standard panel formats. The starting point for prototyping, qualification, and applications that don’t require custom shapes. Easy to cut, low dust, and integrate with standard tooling.
Die-cut parts
Custom shapes cut to your drawings — inter-cell battery separators, gaskets, sealing rings, complex outlines with holes and cutouts. From prototype quantities to series production. Dimensional Tolerances adapted to serial integration constraints.
Laminations & multi-layer assemblies
Skogar® combined with films, foils, scrims, or other layers to meet specific functional requirements: vapor barriers, structural face sheets, adhesive backing, conductive layers, surface protection. From single-side adhesive lamination to complex multi-layer constructions engineered for aerospace and defense.

In-house capability and a global converter network
Different projects need different supply chains. We match the production model to your volume, geometry, and lead time requirements.
In-house at Rochetoirin
Our French facility handles prototyping, R&D work, small and medium volumes, standard die-cutting and lamination processes.
Qualified converter partners
For larger volumes or specialized multi-layer assemblies, we work with qualified converter partners in North America, Europe, and Asia. Each is selected for specific expertise — high-volume die-cutting, complex multi-layer lamination, regional logistics. We coordinate production and converter interfaces throughout the project.
How a project unfolds
Most custom projects follow a similar path. We adjust the steps based on your qualification and procurement constraints.
Step 1
Engineering consultation
We review your thermal load, geometry, qualification standards, and target volumes. Output: grade recommendation, form factor proposal, and a clear scope for the next steps.
Step 2
Samples & prototypes
Standard samples are available through our shop. Custom shapes and laminations are produced in-house — typically within a few weeks depending on complexity.
Step 3
Qualification
We support testing, certification documentation, and integration design. ISO 9001 traceability throughout. EN 9100 in progress (targeted 2027-Q2) for aerospace and defense programmes.
Step 4
Series production
In-house for small and medium volumes. Partner network for larger volumes or specialized multi-layer assemblies, with the converter selected based on your geography and technical needs.
