What is Kwark®

Silica aerogel as a raw material for your formulations

Kwark® is Enersens’ line of silica aerogel granules and powders, designed for incorporation into third-party products and formulations. Mix Kwark® into plasters, renders, coatings, or use it as loose-fill insulation — and benefit from the exceptional thermal, fire, and acoustic properties of silica aerogel.

With an intrinsic thermal conductivity of 0.012 W/(m·K) and a bulk conductivity of 0.018–0.022 W/(m·K) as a granular bed, Kwark® delivers outstanding insulation performance at minimal weight. Stable from −195 °C to +450 °C, non-flammable, hydrophobic, and free of organic binders.

Available grades

Kwark® is available as granules or fine powder. Other particle size distributions available on request.
